This will give you access to all the online tools City Year will provide you throughout the year (Outlook, Calendar, Microsoft Office Online, Workday, etc.).

Your username is included in the email, and you will need to click the teal button entitled "Activate Okta Account" to setup your personal password for OKTA. You will not be able to log into the system through the old way after you activate your City Year Account. 

All of your on-boarding tasks should be in your inbox located on the left-hand side of your screen or in the top right corner (the tray icon with a number in an orange circle).

You should click each task and follow the instructions. Once you have completed each task, make sure you click "Submit", and the task will then disappear from your inbox. That is how you will know you have completed your tasks. See below for list of tasks in your inbox:

  • Elect/Waive CY Health Insurance​
  • Direct Deposit Set-up​
  • Complete Public Image Acknowledgement​
  • Complete their Federal & State W4
  • Stipend Increase Amendment
  • Elect/Waive Relocation Assistance (moved 50+ miles to serve with CYSA)
