We want to acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People, Past and present who have walked and cared for this land for thousands of years. We should respect this land that we all share from the Aboriginal. We should listen to stories that have been told thousands of years ago and we need to respect these stories and pass them on.

A lot has been happening even though we are going through tough times we are going to get through it. We need to stay positive, happy and healthy during this time. Even though you're at home we are still belonging.

We need to be kind to all people of all cultures, especially Australia’s first people. We have a lot to learn from their culture and experiences. Some sad things have happened to them and we need to make sure they don’t happen again. A lot has happened since the early days of the people’s movement for reconciliation, including greater acknowledgement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander rights to land and sea, understanding of the impact of government policies and frontier conflicts, and an embracing of stories of Indigenous success and contribution.
