         <title>eTwinning </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Launched in 2005, eTwinning is a community exclusively open to educators and other school staff providing basic vocational education and training and early childhood education and care through to upper secondary schools in countries participating in eTwinning.&nbsp; eTwinning;&nbsp; It embodies a methodology, a pedagogical approach, a community of practice and a platform that enables innovation, communication and collaboration.<br><br>&nbsp;The main stakeholders of eTwinning are registered users (eTwinners), national support organizations (NSO), Central Support Service (CSS), European Commission (Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture) and European Education and Culture.&nbsp; Executive Agency.<br><br>&nbsp;School staff can experience the benefits of becoming a member of the 'Community of Schools in Europe' by participating in eTwinning.&nbsp; Registered and verified eTwinners have access to the restricted eTwinning area and other special features on the European Schooling Platform.<br><br>&nbsp;At European level, the existing Central Support Service (CSS) coordinates the network of national support organizations with the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).&nbsp; It is responsible for the eTwinning space, a fully multilingual website that offers tools and services where school staff can register, find partners and work together.&nbsp; CSS also provides pedagogical and technical helpdesk services and runs special training sessions on eTwinning for teachers.<br>&nbsp;IMPORTANT!<br>&nbsp;There can be a maximum of 10 Turkish partners in a project, there is no limit on the number of teachers from different countries. There cannot be 2 founders from the same country. One founder must be Turkish and the other founder must be from a different country. It is not enough for the founder to be from a different country, there must also be partners from different countries. A teacher can take part in as many projects as he wants. Can apply for a quality label for a maximum of 4 projects in a period.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since it started in 2005;&nbsp; eTwinning has promoted responsible use of the internet and developed a safe environment for teachers and students to collaborate online.<br><br>&nbsp;eSafety covers a set of important principles to remember when using and working with online tools and resources, including those from eTwinning;<br><br>&nbsp;– Be inclusive eTwinners are urged to look beyond their own perspectives, be interested in different cultures, and show sensitivity when involving other users in their activities, projects, groups and networking events, both online and on-site.<br><br>&nbsp;– Be respectful Members of the eTwinning community should be respectful when dealing with their peers and interacting with each other.<br><br>&nbsp;– Be tolerant It is inevitable that there will be disagreements from time to time.&nbsp; Tolerance of the views of others motivates the pragmatic approach encouraged in this community.&nbsp; The important thing is to always seek constructive solutions to disagreements and differing opinions within the limits described and defined in this Code of Conduct, and to recognize that some situations may lead to a “disagreement”.<br><br>&nbsp;Some of the rules that all eTwinning users must follow<br><br>&nbsp;1. eTwinning cannot be used for commercial purposes.<br><br>&nbsp;2. There can be no direct threats, bullying or harassment.<br><br>&nbsp;3. Intellectual property<br><br>&nbsp;Ensure that the content you upload to the platform does not violate any copyrights.<br><br>&nbsp;4. Identity theft<br><br>&nbsp;eTwinners may not impersonate other persons or groups/organizations they do not represent in a manner intended to deceive, confuse or defraud others.<br><br>&nbsp;5. Students<br><br>&nbsp;eTwinning takes students' privacy and security seriously.&nbsp; Avoid posting pictures of students on your eTwinning Live profile, TwinSpace, Groups etc.&nbsp; In cases where you need to publish, make sure that you have their parents' permission and that the students are not in a recognizable state. (You can collage and share their photos from the side, with their faces hidden from behind)<br><br>&nbsp;6. Private information and Sensitive data<br><br>&nbsp;You should not share personal information, such as personal phone numbers and addresses, credit card information or other private information, or other users' personal information or private photos and videos.&nbsp; Always think before posting!<br>&nbsp;,<br>&nbsp;The images and files you add to the Profile or Resources sections must not violate copyrights!!<br>&nbsp;Make sure that the messages you send in the forums comply with the forum topic!!<br>&nbsp;Do not send too many messages, including the teachers you work with. They may be considered SPAM!!<br><br><br>&nbsp;Before adding a person to your connection list, contact that person!! (send a connection request from where it says network connections, people)<br><br>&nbsp;The same e-mail should not be sent to more than one person.&nbsp; The same e-mail should not be sent repeatedly.<br><br>&nbsp;In order to solve the problems, the provincial coordinators should first be contacted, and in cases that cannot be solved, UDS should be contacted.<br><br>&nbsp;1. Avoid sharing photos and videos in which students' faces are depicted as much as possible,<br>&nbsp;2. If sharing is to be done, parents must sign a letter giving permission for sharing at the beginning of the project.<br>&nbsp;3.Sharing videos and pictures on Youtube and Vimeo with restrictions (unlisted, student confidentiality).<br><br><br><br>&nbsp;Using eTwinning for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.&nbsp; Commercial companies, events or computer programs will be deleted and their access to the Portal will be blocked.<br>&nbsp;In summary<br>&nbsp;Reply to the messages you receive without delay, politely.<br><br>&nbsp;Do not send your correspondence in capital letters.<br><br>&nbsp;When looking for a partner, do not share the same message in more than one forum.<br><br>&nbsp;Do not share the same message to the same person more than once. Do not share your personal information.<br><br>&nbsp;When looking for a partner, choose the correct form and age group.<br><br>&nbsp;Be careful when sharing photos of your students.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;eTwinners must conduct their online interactions professionally, courteously, and with the same respect as their real-life interactions.&nbsp; Below are some examples of what users should and should not do.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;1. Use the internal messaging system carefully and responsibly.<br>&nbsp;Avoid sending too many messages to teachers you don't work with.&nbsp; Before contacting a user: check their profile;&nbsp; See if it indicates that it is suitable for doing a project;&nbsp; Make sure your message is relevant.&nbsp; Don't send exactly the same messages to too many users.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;2. Avoid spamming forums.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;Thousands of messages are sent from forums in the European School Education Platform Networking area.&nbsp; Make sure your message is relevant to the subject of the title.&nbsp; Before publishing a new post, check if there are any other relevant messages and reply to them.&nbsp; To foster collaboration, help us keep the forums relevant!<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;3. Only post comments that are relevant and appropriate to other users' posts.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;When posting a comment on someone else's profile, make sure that the comment is appropriate for the user.&nbsp; Comments must be for individuals and relate to the user's message.&nbsp; Do not write the same comment to too many users.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;4. Avoid sending random contact requests and project invitations.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;Avoid asking eTwinners to be your contact or participate in your project without prior communication.&nbsp; Make sure you have a reasonable and manageable number of contacts on your list.&nbsp; Want to follow others' updates?&nbsp; Follow them instead.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;5. Make invitations to the rooms according to the target audience.<br>&nbsp;Avoid inviting your contacts to Rooms you manage unless you're sure those colleagues can attend.&nbsp; Random invitations to rooms are considered spam.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>&nbsp;In many countries, anyone who creates an original work recorded on physical media automatically owns the copyright to that work.&nbsp; These individuals, as copyright holders, have exclusive rights to the work.&nbsp; In most cases, only the copyright owner can indicate whether someone else has permission to use the work.<br>&nbsp;What types of works are subject to copyright?<br><br>&nbsp;Audiovisual works such as TV programs, movies and online videos<br><br>&nbsp;Sound recordings and musical compositions<br><br>&nbsp;Written works such as lectures, articles, books, and musical compositions<br><br>&nbsp;Visual works such as paintings, posters and advertisements<br><br>&nbsp;Video games and computer software<br><br>&nbsp;Dramatic works such as plays and musicals<br><br>&nbsp;Ideas, facts and processes are not covered by copyright.&nbsp; According to copyright law, to be eligible for copyright protection, a work must be a creative work and must be recorded on a physical medium.&nbsp; Names and titles alone are not subject to copyright.<br><br>&nbsp;What is Copyright Infringement?<br><br>&nbsp;The author has the right to claim damages arising from this violation in case of violation of his/her material and moral rights arising from ownership of the work.&nbsp; Using these rights belonging to the author without the permission of the author constitutes copyright infringement.<br><br>&nbsp;How do I know if I've been copyrighted?<br><br>&nbsp;After opening the video, scroll down to the information section.&nbsp; Then, at the bottom of the information section, there is the Music in this video section and the Learn more section.&nbsp; If there is a learn more section, the video may be copyrighted.<br><br>&nbsp;What should I do to avoid YouTube copyright?<br><br>&nbsp;In order to avoid copyright notices on YouTube, openly licensed materials (video, music, effects, etc.) should be used.&nbsp; Since these types of materials are available for general use, they can be used without any problems.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To do an eTwinning project you need to register for eTwinning.&nbsp; All teachers and administrators working in both public and private schools, from kindergarten to the end of secondary education, can register to eTwinning.&nbsp; You can pre-register on the eTwinning|ESEP platform.&nbsp; You must then click on the link sent to the e-mail address you provided during pre-registration and complete your password and registration process.&nbsp; During registration you will be asked to enter your school information and eTwinning preferences.<br><br>&nbsp;NOTE: During registration, some of our teachers re-register their school names even though their school names are registered in the system.&nbsp; This situation leads to a difficult process and confusion in the system.&nbsp; Please add a new school after making sure that your school is not registered.
