This event was significant, not only because this is the home I grew up in but because it showed me the constant effort my parents went through for their family.

Before I had been in second grade, I didn't care much about school and didn't take it seriously. However, that all changed when my second-grade teacher pulled me aside one day and told me I had the potential and skills to be a successful student, but it would only be helpful if I learned how to put effort into my work. This one chat changed my perspective about myself, my education, and my determination, and it shaped the student I am today.

At the beginning of the 4th grade, I moved schools from Aldine ISD to Tomball ISD, a significant change since I had left behind my old friends and had recently tested out of bilingual. Therefore, I wasn't used to my class in any way, but eventually, I adapted to my new school and took advantage of the opportunities it offered compared to my old one. This event impacted me because it taught me I could belong anywhere as long as I adapted to my environment.

These eventually became things I implement to this day, and because of this, I value this experience, its impact, and the sport as a whole very much.

My fifth-grade year was very memorable. It was the year that the pandemic started and invaded each part of my life, but even though school was no longer in person, I kept putting effort into my education. Eventually, I received a call from my homeroom teacher telling me I had won the A+ award. It was for students at the top of their class, and I didn't even know it existed, but after receiving it, it gave me a new source of motivation for school that has stayed with me ever since.

As a child, I had big dreams, but over the summer before 5th grade, I investigated the opportunities in my new school district. I eventually came across Tomball Star Academy on the Tomball ISD website, and since then, it has become a goal of mine to attend Tomball Star Academy. This has affected my choices to this day because it was something I strived for and eventually achieved.

However, you can't win everything, and while my goal towards the end of the 7th grade was to win the A+ medal again, I did not. At first, it was devastating knowing that my hard work wasn't enough to reach my goal, but eventually, it helped me realize that life doesn't always go your way and that your "failures" shouldn't bring you down forever. Instead, they should motivate you further until you eventually reach that goal.

It was highly impactful because it gave me the hope that my dreams weren't out of reach and that they were achievable with the right amount of effort and persistence.

Finally, at the end of the 8th grade, when I was getting ready to say goodbye to friends I wouldn't see the following school year, I received an email telling me I had been an A+ student that year, which impacted me in two ways. Firstly, it showed me that even if you don't reach your goal initially, you shouldn't give up because you'll eventually get there. Secondly, I shouldn't stress and judge myself so hard for an achievement. Although enjoying the moment you worked so hard for is necessary, just like everything else in life, it slowly becomes a memory, and my self-worth shouldn't depend on one memory.

One common thread I found in my timeline was an emphasis on effort. This can be shown by the recurrence of events that taught me lessons relating to effort, whether it be someone else's hard work leading me to do the same, my effort helping me reach goals for myself, or a reminder that I need to put in the effort to be the best version of me. Furthermore, this thread exemplifies the parts of my personality that reappear: my professionalism and dedication, which is shown in my constant desire to be the best, most efficient version of myself, and how much I value education.

Additionally, this process showed me some significant accomplishments, such as adapting to a new school district well and managing my emotions after some time. Moreover, one moment that revealed I was stronger and wiser than I thought was not achieving my goal in 7th grade because I didn't let my failure control how I perceived myself, and I learned from it instead.

The event worthy of my future is the purchase of my home because I became who I am in my house; all my memories, dreams, hopes, and goals grew there over time, and it's a place I know I can always return to no matter what life bring in the future. However, I want to change the balance between my school and personal life, especially since it seems like the school aspect has taken up most of my time, and instead, I want to focus on myself for some time. Additionally, I can pull from the best moments on this timeline to create the life I want by learning from my successes, such as winning awards and using the same principles to mimic them in the future.
