Asian highway

Asian Highway is a route that goes through 32 countries in Asia. The total length of 14000 kilometres. This is a big project for united countries of Asia and Europe. Asian highway's purpose is international land transport development. Also economic and social exchange too. There are total 55 routes in this Asian highway. This Asian Highway project is called "silk road of 21 century"

The dmz is a demilitarized zone established under the 1953 Armistice Agreement after the Korean War. The DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) is set up as a buffer zone to prevent military clashes. And it located in the range of two kilometers north and south. Civilian villages inhabited in the DMZ include Daeseong-dong in the South and Gijeong-dong in the North.

The transcontinental railway has four route : TCR, TSR, TMGR, TMR.
Each of those routes pass different city. First, TCR, the trans-china-railway, starts from Busan. And it passes Seoul, Beijing, Arktogai, Moskba. In DMZ, there are a lot of species of animals and plants. Also some endangered animals live there. We can visit there, and meet a lot of creatures. Tourists can learn lots of histories by staying there, too.
Recently, an application for the DMZ has created. This application helps us to find some species of animals and plants that are living in the DMZ. You can learn an ecosystem of the DMZ through this application.

129 stakes were inserted to form a virtual line of 248km into the military demarcation line. 2km each from there is the DMZ.
Because the activities of the civilians are strictly prohibited for 40 years, the natural ecosystem can be preserved.

The TCR is a railway which is 4,018 kilometers. It is located at the top and bottom, so there are no restrictions on cargo transportation due to weather conditions.
The TSR is the longest railway in the world with 9,288 kilometers. It has good cargo information system and it smooth to move.
