Make sense of Learning
I think that when I finally was taught in a way that I understood the reason I should be diligent in my writing/communication/rhetoric studies, it literally clicked in my brain about how much importance should be placed on all literacy and communications acquisition and the detrimental effects NOT learning how to properly communicate and interpret and present what we read and write can have on our lives.]]> 2021-06-30 18:43:05 UTC https://padlet.com/987plc/8m6a106g6u20fl2h/wish/1632159671 https://padlet.com/987plc/8m6a106g6u20fl2h/wish/1632159700 When I first started learning piano it was super hard because I never tried to play an instrument before but I was interested so I stuck with it or committed to learning.  I got advice from musicians but I was mostly learning on my own so I had to come up with ways to make sense of it...Its a slow process and I am still learning little by little. Maybe that is why the chart is in a circle because you flow around at different paces and sometimes you gotta go back through a phase.

I showed interest and then once I learned the steps with my coach, I then applied those steps to make them on my own.

However; I went to visit while she was baking bread and she made me follow her recipe from beginning to end. For me 1-5 were the most important.

Everyone else had been playing for 4 years, and it really takes that long to build embouchure. 

1 and 5 were the most important! My strong interest and desire was absolutely necessary, but I failed a lot at the beginning. My band directors put a lot of trust in my and I was able to solo-learn during the summer (we lacked a private instructor for only this instrument). I was able to take that same instrument and succeed throughout college.

I didn't even realize that the cycle was spinning because I was so engaged with the drama evident in all Greek Mythology
