My photo doesn’t have a lot of different colours but I have made the colour that is in the picture very vibrant the tone isn’t to dark or to light the photo has quite a lot of texture because of the fur on the cat and the fact that the picture was taken quite close up there there is guite a deep depth of field because I had to zoom in with the lens and thats makes a better depth of field I kept the cat in the middle of the frame because there was chair legs on either side of the cat and I didn't  want them in in the picture

Technical.

the camera i used was a nikon D7000 dslr with a 55-300mm lens the shutter speed i used was 1/640th and F/5.6 the sun was behind me lighting the cats face but the cat was under a chair shading he's head creation the shadow on his head and i edited the photo using Lightroom 5 enhancing the contrast,clarity and saturation.

Contextual.

I took this picture in june last year in cyprus and the reason why i took the picture was because I had my camera on me at the time and I saw the opportunity and took it and the cat was sitting there all day.

This photo has very deep vivid colous and there is a very deep depth of field  to keep the eagle in focus and be the only subject in the photo there is also a lot of texture beucase of the feathers and the beak has a smooth texture 

Technical.

The camera I used was  a nikon D7000 dslr with a 55-300mm the shutter speed I used was 1/800th and F/6.3 the sun was behind the trees therefore shading the eagle but it was still really bright out side so I could use a really fast shutter speed I also used lightroom to edit the photo by increasing the contrast, clarity and playing around with the sliders and to eventually finding out how I want the picture to be.

Contextual.

This photo really only has green as the only the only colour but it is a really deep green the picture also has an extremely deep depth of field and it has a really nice texture because of all the water drops  on the leaf

Technical.

the camera I used is a Nikon D7000 dslr with a 55-300mm lens and I zoomed in as much as I can and stood as close as I can where the camera can focus so I can get the macro effect I did edit this photo like all the others by increasing the contrast saturation and clarity in lightrom and exposure to get the picture looking its best and I also lady around with the highlights and shadows

the light source comes from an enlarger because th paper has to be handled in a dar room with red lights because the paper is only sensitive to the blue end of the light spectrum  so red light has no effect on the paper.

This photo doesn't have a lot of different colours but many different shades of the same colour being green and there is also the motor way in the background with all the cars adding some movement into the photo I also edited the photo to make the colours more vivid and pop out more I also made sure that I had half of the hill in back on one side side of the frame so you can see the hills roll down to the left 

The camera I used was a Nikon D7000 with a 55-300mm lens with a shutter speed of 1/640th of a second and an aperture of F/7.0 the lighting was all natural and a bit overcast so the light was even over the whole landscape when i edited the picture using lightroom I increased the contrast and adjusted the expostures and saturation a bit also increasing the clarity in the picture

The shutter speed for this picture is probably around 1/200th of a second and the aperture is probably around F/6.3 to f/7.0 I don't think very many editing techniques were used in this picture because it looks quite plain and there isn't a lot of contrast I think the sharpness was increased.

The picture looks like it was taken some time in the winter months because the weather looks really grey its a picture of a fence or maybe a wooden door to get into field or something similar.

The shutter speed in the picture was probably slow because the weather i the picture really dark so maybe somewhere around 1/100th to 1/160th and the aperture was probably F/8.0 so that it is wide as it can be so that as much light can get into the camera and so that everything is in focus there wasn't many editing skills use in the post production of this photo the main thing that was used was increasing the contrast and saturation and in creasing the brightness after the lighting would have been natural lighting from the sun because its and out door photo 

The picture was taken in harlow town where this statue is I'm not sure what the statue is for but it was taken round the winter time because the weather in the photo is really dark ]]> 2016-06-16 12:36:57 UTC https://padlet.com/olliemossphotography1/8m4cug0sik2l/wish/114824927 Contextual Awareness olliemossphotography1 https://padlet.com/olliemossphotography1/8m4cug0sik2l/wish/114828579 The only colours in this picture is the colour of the pencils which is a kind of light brown of the wood and the black of the lead there is a nice texture to the wood of the pencils and its clear to see because this picture was shot with a macro lens thats why here is and extremely shallow depth of field which is when there is only a very small part of the picture that is in focus in this case the pencils and everything else is completely blown out of focus in the background and foreground 

The lens on the camera was definitely a macro lens because normal lens wouldn't be able to get this close and this sharp the shutter speed was probably quite fast because this look like it was taken in a studio with soft boxes so it was probably taken at about 1/320th of a second and the aperture was probably as big as the lens would allow which could have been F/2.8 to F/4.0

This picture was taken in a studio of some kind because in the left of of the photo you can see the light is more intense meaning there was some kind artificial lighting of some kind probably a soft box  ]]> 2016-06-16 13:11:36 UTC https://padlet.com/olliemossphotography1/8m4cug0sik2l/wish/114828579 Contextual Awareness  olliemossphotography1 https://padlet.com/olliemossphotography1/8m4cug0sik2l/wish/114830459 There is some colour in this photo from the bushes in the background but not much except that there is a massive shadow in the foreground but the photographer intended that to be there to give the photo more feeling there is a bit f death to the photo it does start to blur the further out into the background there is also some texture in the wall to left of the frame and line at the same time and the two people and the dog in the right side of the photo using the rule of thirds which she the frame is split into thirds so if the people are the subject of the photo they have been place in the furthest right third of the frame because they stand out more there than they would in the middle of the frame.

The lens used in the photo would most like have been a wide angle lens thats why the photo looks quite wide the shutter speed would have been at medium speed so that the foreground can still be seen and not pitch black so somewhere around 1/160th to 1/200th of a second the aperture would have been as wide as it can be so that as much light as possible can reach the sensor so it wold have been F/4.3 for a wide angle lens the lighting was natural light because it was shot outside.
