I’m clear that people needn’t worry about what it’s like to be older or have dementia. Then I ask trainees to get into small groups & then play some music from Spotify/Music apps & talk about their memories and associations. People in their mid-twenties can be surprisingly nostalgic! We then talk about how they feel afterwards and what impact the exercise had. It’s great fun.
