    • Dinosaurs are always described as exciting and enticing for an audience. Do you think this was always the case? Or do you see their popularity to be linked to media portrayals?

    • How do you feel about incorrect portrayals of dinosaurs within visual media? Take for instance the use of Velociraptors in Jurassic Park and the fact they look more like Deinonychus. I know in the 90s there was less knowledge about the velociraptor but do you think more could have been done to portray them correctly?

    • As a paleo-artist, you are well-informed on the visualisation of dinosaurs based on fossil findings. How important would you say the correct portrayal of dinosaurs is within visual media? This can include films like Jurassic Park but also movies aimed at children, for example. 

    • Do these creators do a disservice to extensive scientific research by ‘ignoring’ certain dinosaur facts? For instance, the newest Jurassic World still features Velociraptors that looked more like Deinonychus. 

    • Giving visual creators freedom to represent things however they want is a topic I wanted to look into. Do you think designers / visual creatives have a moral responsibility to stick to the truth within their work? Dinosaurs are an example of this but it can be applied to a number of topics.
