Wikipedia includes 5,331,726 + (As of February 9) articles and it averages 800 new articles per day. Wikipedia is so unique because it allows users to contribute to articles the editors of the site have written. It’s a good website to share information with other people, while it still being somewhat unreliable, due to the fact that anyone, can write in anything. Wikipedia has many other sister websites such as, Wikibooks, Wikiquote, Wikinews, and Wikiversity. All run by the non-profit organization, Wikimedia. All of them, follow the same premise, users are able to contribute to the community by writing and publishing their own writing.

Twitch was originally a spin-off of another semi-popular streaming site, Justin.tv (Also founded by Justin and Emmett.) Twitch lets visitors to the sight watch live streams live or watching streams already streamed on demand. The site usually focuses on gaming livestreams, but in the more recent years, different kinds of streams have emerged. Such as art streams, music streams, and even live commentating of online esport matches. In October of 2013, the website had achieved 45,000,000 viewers. In August 2014, Justin.tv was shut down, and Twitch continued it’s climb to popularity. In 2015, Twitch announced that it had reached over 100,000,000 viewers. As of December 2016 some of the most popular games streamed on Twitch are League of Legends, Hearthstone, and Dota 2 with a combined total of over 174 million hours watched.

In 2006, Condé Nast Publications. As of August 2012, Reddit operates as an independent entity, although Condé Nast is still its largest shareholder. In October 2014, Reddit raised over $50,000,000 in a funding round let by multiple celebrities. In years like 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, controversy has been a problem on Reddit. Reddit serves as a discussion forum and news forum, each category is divided into “sub-reddits”. Each sub-reddit is about a different topic than the last. Reddit has it’s own rules and it’s own moderators. Reddit is a good place to talk about the things you love.
