         <description><![CDATA[<div>Have students engage in a live role play where a boyfriend is meeting the father of his girlfriend for the first time. There are two versions: first is a polite, respectful boyfriend who would meet all of the parent expectations and second, is a rowdy, rough who lacks manners.<br>Read an excerpt aloud and ask students to findthe  contrast and contradiction. Then follow up with an excerpt from a text for students to find the contrast and contradiction with a partner.</div>]]></description>
