         <description><![CDATA[<div>Yes , there is a reaction.When you put an <strong>egg</strong> in <strong>vinegar</strong>, the <strong>shell</strong> dissolves, leaving the inner semi-permeable membrane intact. <strong>Vinegar</strong> which is an acid breaks apart the solid calcium carbonate crystals (base) in the <strong>eggshell</strong> into their calcium and carbonate parts.</div>]]></description>

The moment I immersed the eggs in the vinegar there are little bubbles on the outside of the eggs and after a few minutes, the bubbles became enormous. This is because the acetic acid in vinegar reacts with calcium carbonate in egg shell and releases carbon dioxide gas which is the bubbles.</div>]]></description>
