I think the colony of Roanoke disappeared because they wanted to go somewhere where there was more supply's and maybe they were worried that people would come to war with them.

In my opinion the reason they disappeared is either they left the land to go somewhere new or they tried to go somewhere but were killed off by a different colony.

They were suffering from diseases, and were also being attacked by tribes. In my opinion, I believe that the colony of Roanoke disappeared because they were traveling to find some place else to stay where they wouldn't be attacked and they could maybe find cures for their diseases.

In my opinion I think they disappeared from foot shortage and they left and went somewhere else because they lost hope in the guy and they encounter more and more people dying so there was a small group and i am guessing the took a boat and tried to go back but they ended up sinking and there bodys and and there boat got lost in sea.

I have two theories, my first theory is I think the people saw something. They could've ran out of food but they shouldn't have because how did they run out of food so fast they could've starved but there were other chances. I think someone assassinated them all because I get it was back then but you never know. The whole government could be lying to us they could've been a thing this whole time. That's one of my theories, but we have to look at some clues all our eyes seem closed because there's a lot of clues stone with things written on it the tree carved with CRO. We need to think smarter. My next theory is that the Native Americans could've killed them I mean if someone was in your house would you try to defend yourself. It's just the Native Americans protecting themselves because people are in their home and on their land.

I believe they disappeared because they went to live with other native Americans because they thought that John White would never come back with resources. That's why there was no evidence and everything was careful taking apart.

I think they did die but it's was 3 years that John came back so that's why they could't fine bones,or they just went to other land and they killed them in that land.I think they left because they give up waiting on John.
