Upon completion of this assignment I established a plan to conduct research that explored the bigger picture (quantitative) and a more numbers-focused (qualitative) examination. My plan included components of research such as research questions, data collection measures, data analysis, sampling strategy etc. My understanding of research methodologies could be beneficial to an employer who is interested in exploring proposals related to improving the functions of the organization.

This handout defines educational records along with when and how those records can be released. I believe I have a clear understanding of the FERPA law which will be assist in avoiding violation of this law in an educational setting.

Strengths and Weakness are an internal assessments, while Opportunities and Threats are an external assessments. The SWOT analysis is the starting point for an organization to create a strategic plan. Within municipal government, a strategic plan is submitted to city leaders to use for budget decisions. This assignment demonstrated that I am well prepared to assist with assessing and planning for future needs for an organization.

The data presented suggested that students who were from lower socio-economic households were more adversely affected than students from higher income households. The contents of this paper demonstrated my ability to connect to those struggling students based on my own childhood. It is a reminder of the importance of compassionate intervention and the difference that can be made in the life of a child.

It detailed the four frames of an organization which included structural, human resources, political, and symbolic, and the importance of continual analysis of the frames. Upon completion of this assignment, I learned that attention should be paid to all four frames in order for a business of any kind to be highly successful. This important concept could be provided in a training setting to supervisors within my agency to assist them in their professional growth.
