On the surface the print is very simplistic, it's simply a guy in the middle with comically sized proportions standing there, nothing like other prints where there are beautiful designs and stunning messages embedded into the print's soul. It uses red to pop out the picture with a cool color background to contrast the warm color of the print itself, the print is void of extra details. However, this drawing has a very strong emotion, one so strong it's on a universal level. This is confusion, and it's one of my least favorite emotions, an emotion of being out of the moment in a fantasy. Despite this I did it anyway, and that's because I relate to it so much to extreme exaggeration. The image and name screams of someone who tries to look professional but is incredibly lost in his understanding. The confusion is so intense he can feel his entire hand around his face, gripping it so hard he could tear it off. The level of it is so high he is emanating it as an aura around him, accentuating his concern and his body language. Showing this image to other people and they can recognize what emotion the print is expressing. This was my favorite project of the year because I had the most fun making it. I wasn't worried about making my painting look a certain way or that if I messed up the entire thing would be ruined.
