These are stressful situations for me and even for many other students because it's hard to manage our time wisely and on top of that, staying on task, and trying not to easily get distracted.

10 Positive Ways to Manage Stress

1. Finding a way to balance your life that consists of things like school, work, extra curricular activities, etc. 2. Plan out your days especially the busy ones. This can be done by using a calendar or planning app to keep track of the things you do throughout the day. 3. Staying consistent with your plan. This can be done by transforming your plan to a routine and looking at your planner each day. 4. Ask for help when you need it. At times, life can get really stressful and sometimes you may be confused on something especially schoolwork. Asking for help is a good idea because if you are confused on something, it is good to ask someone who may know more about it than you do. 5. Use the positive energy of stress. Don’t put things off until the last minute because it can become overwhelming. It’s also hard to do your best if you’re in a rush. 6. Deal with problems as they come up. When you ignore everyday problems, they will eventually come back to you later so it's best to try to fix them as soon as possible rather than at the last minute. 7. Try your best to eat healthy foods. Eating the right foods will give you a good amount of energy to be productive. 8. Getting enough sleep. After a long day of school and activities, you might feel like staying up late. Maybe you’ve still got homework to finish. Or you want time to talk to friends or binge-watch that show you like. But going to bed late doesn’t leave enough time for sleep when you need to get up early for school. Without enough sleep, you’re more likely to feel stressed over the day’s ups and downs. 9. Exercise every day. Exercising keeps you fit aswell as helping you manage stress, lower anxiety and depression. It can also help in making your mood more positive. 10. Breathe deeply. When you feel stressed or overwhelmed, taking deep breaths can help lower everyday stress.
