Melody goes through out school and in that time between then and 5th grade her fish died, she got a puppy, and she got a sister.

Melody got a devices to talk for her.

Melody joined an 'inclusion class' which she answered a question correctly. 

Then she joined a school team; to further go on to compete in a competition.

Then her sister got hit by a car.
