The kids are up against a grown person who is creating hybrid animals and releasing them into native ecosystems in Florida. If you do Keeper of the Lost cites is a great book. This book has many plot twists and overall mystery throughout the series. Overall its about a  12 year old girl who was introduced to a new life she didn't know she had and is forced to leave her family.  The author is overall trying to present to her readers how when you have the ambition to be great or to accomplish something you can do anything your heart desires, even in tough situations. If you read this and really like this book, guess what..
