Politics is part of every aspect we have. The way we understand, our actions, and how we act in our role as part of society. The way media is created is dependent on the influence of politics. This in turn feeds the population of the content it demands. In our current situation, we cannot avoid being entangled in politics. In every corner, there's bound to be content connected to it. People have consumed and interacted with politics as a way to make themselves relevant to society. This in turn created a generation where political identity has become the norm. The need to share information and awareness, as well as manipulate and deceive people has become widespread, especially on the internet. With a country full of people who lacked literacy or the awareness of the importance of the situation, it always has been part of the Filipino culture. From radios and newspapers, to nowadays with the internet and social media, politicians find ways to be imbedded in Filipino lives. Filipinos always forget that everything a politician does is its job, instead, we put them on pedestals and revere them as the solution to every problem this country faces. Perpetually feeding the corrupt and destructive nature that is the Filipino culture of politics.
