My neighbors had to go grocery shopping so I was going to babysit around an hour and a half. Overall it wasn't bad they left me a list of things that they wanted her to do such as her homework, practice piano, and if we finished those two she could play in her play room. This helped my neighbors because it freed up time for them to get groceries. They wanted me to babysit their daughter more in the future.

There plants were dry and drying and so I also offered to take care of them so I lightly watered them. They gave me instructions that others receive more water where as the smaller ones might need less.

It also is a good feeling when helping others out and knowing you could have made their day better. I felt really good when helping out my family members but it was a greater feeling when helping others you don't know and interacting for the time. Some obstacles I ran into was that it was hard to find ways to help my neighbors because of covid restrictions and for safety. One obstacle was communicating with them to see when I could help or where I could help. Until my neighbor called and wanted me to babysit their daughter for a couple of hours. Another obstacle was trying to show myself in pictures and video while trying to clean the bathroom mirrors and babysitting. I learned that it is very hard to find people to help during this time but when you do its a good feeling, just like Conner trying to find the children's parents and him having little hope but still searching for them. It also is a good feeling when helping others out and you realize the tremendous impact you could have made on them and what ever it was they needed help with. I felt really good when helping out it was a greater feeling when you help someone who you know really needs it or if it is someone who you have seen struggling. Some obstacles I ran into were finding and making multiple times available and workout due to sports and other commitments but I fought through and got it figured out. Another is mainly more for this project is how the task that I did where I cut grass I could not record because that is dangerous for the equipment I was using. I learned that it is very hard work to take care of a whole front and backyard alone so I could not put into fruition what it is like juggling kids and different weathers and more challenges. A moment passed as we stared at one another, then I opened my mouth to introduce myself. ..." This related to all of our experiences because it was the first time for all of us to go and help our neighbors and get outside of our comfort zone. Just like how Conner was frozen and didn't know what to or say to the children.

A passage that relates to how the covid and safety restrictions made it harder to help others outside of our family. "... Do we take him to the hospital? It was 6:00 p.m., and the last minibus to Kathmandu for the evening would leave soon. After that, there was no way into the city; ..." (Chapter 1 page 50)Trying to find ways to help our neighbors was hard while trying to be safe just like Conner and how he had to make a hard decision to make if he would bring Santosh to the hospital even though it would not be safe after 6:00 p.m.

In Chapter 4 page 127 Conner finds Amita, "She nodded and tears welled up in her eyes. I took the bottles from her and laid them on the ground. I took her hand and led her up to the road. She followed without a word. We walked around and found a shop, a typical simple wood kiosk, with a telephone. I called Gyan Bahadur and told him I had found Amita." It also feels good to help others, and you understand the huge impact you can have on them and what they need. It's great to be able to help, and this feeling will be strongest when you help someone who really needs it or who is struggling. Some obstacles I encountered have been discovered and cleared many times, and I have also participated in sports. Commitment to others, but I strive and work hard to achieve it. The other is mainly for this project. I cannot record the cutting operation because it is dangerous to the equipment I use. Maintaining the entire front yard and backyard is a very difficult task, so I cannot understand what it means to juggle with children, different climates and other issues. Overall, it was a great experience.
