I am glad that you took the time to research the impacts of significant life events on teachers. Ironically, I am 8 months out from such an event, and I can tell you it has been challenging at times. However, as you mentioned resilience has helped me to keep going. I will look into the authors you mentioned on positive psychology as I believe in adding resources to my toolbox. Again, thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I love that you mention finding what drive behaviors and that dat reveals pieces of information that is discoverable. I love the reminder that we should be motivated by interest and to not be fearful of research. Collaborate, insight, and collaboration all help with insights in research! That has been a topic that I hear more about in education. So many factors with that concept about building grit in students. The way you collect data from interviews helps us on understanding what drives and motivates people based on their past. This helps create a better understanding. For new researchers, not to be fearful with research and get insight from others is great advice. Well done Rebecca.

I appreciate how you mentioned to follow your passions and not let fear and assumed expectations dictate research/learning.
