Today we have started a new topic and today we have done research on media in Harlow College and I have got lots of examples of that. these are the different promotional material we had to research. I found information to promote the media, journalism and photography department in Harlow College from the following;

Website (blogs, social media, images,
graphics)
Video (cooperate video, advertisement,
trailers, promo video)
Audio (radio, podcast)
Text (newspaper articles, blogs, twitter, Facebook, course details)

I created a visual mood board showing evidence of exploring a range interactive
media promoting the department. My mood board will help me develop
my ideas for my own interactive website.

today we uploaded the following apps on our ipads and we went out and tested the sound on them and and wrote a review on each one.

Voice Recorder
Garage Band
Spreaker Studio

we have done this today to get us used to the apps so we can use them next week and be confident with using them.

all these apps I found very useful and I will be using them all in the future because on some of the apps you can edit so it is good for editing and very simple to use voice recorder and simpl are the best two apps because they are simple to use and are very effective.

I now have a clear idea on what our group is doing for our production. On my mind map I still need to find some actors. The location will be in the media block. We didn't do any tests shoots so we need to do that next week.

Michael is going to take pictures of all the great stuff up in the media department all the macs, motion room, animation room.

Joe is going to make a video of the whole department and just improve on the previous production last year.

today i recorded some of my class mates and made them answer some questions on media in Harlow College this went really well there are some of the videos. and i have now set up my simple website.

today I was trying out lots of audio apps and i was talking into them as if i was doing interviews some of the apps were not good but some of them was really good and one of them was really easy to use. I have also now finished all my questions and ready to interview next week.

today i have done a questionnaire on my simple website and most of the comments came back positive and they all said that it was good.
