praise the process - give effort and process based feedback
- peer to peer assessment and collaboration is great for student learning
- allow students to be challenged and struggled so they can build resiliency
- reflection and meta cognition about behavior will help students be able to build resiliency and problem solving skills. 

Take the time to truly reflect as a teacher but also in your personal life. Take the time to reflect on personal growth and changes. * Allow students wait time to compose and think about answers to questions.
*Focus time and effort on building a safe environment in your classroom to make and celebrate mistakes.
* Allow students to be challenged and walk with them through this journey.  It teaches them so many important skills for life, builds confidence and shows them how to preserve.  
*A test or grade on an assignment is not the end all be all of who the student is or what they are capable of.  Use this as a learning tool instead of a punishment and finality.  Growth and true learning take time.
*Keep it positive where ever you go!  Your internal and external dialogue matter!

* Don't focus too much on grades, they are only indicator of what a student can do
* Work on your mindset as well, admit when you make a mistake or have fixed ideas
