A challenge I felt as an individual was I felt like my confidence was knocked a bit at the start of project 3 as i had just found out I wasn’t going to be getting into HN so that pushed me back a few steps but throughout the project my group was there to help and guide me so I felt more confident in what I was doing.

Feedback we received from the stager through that helped with our final performance was we got told that cause our performance was humorous we had to make sure we kept on it and not to take big pauses so we had the audience engaging and laughing throughout it all.

Strengths in the final performance were improved a lot and done a whole lot better just a few hours after the dress rehearsal, we managed well with interacting with the audience getting someone up from the audience and managed to give the audience something to enjoy and laugh their whole way through our performance. Areas for further development I’d say running lines more frequently as a lot of us struggled to remember our lines but we done will managing to do improve if we forget in any way so no one in the audience would have realised.

Skills I have developed was how to deal with stage fright, I really enjoy performing and enjoy being out on the stage but I struggle with stage fright and don’t know how to deal with it. I was brave enough to ask one of my lecturers who then gave me great advice on how to deal with stage fright. She told me to focus on breathing which is a main one but other ones she suggested was pretend your a superhero with a cape to make it out your powerful and not scared she also said to imagine your this really tall massive person and everyone your performing to are ants and you can’t see them. All that advice really helped cause it made me imagine that everyone in the audience were that small I couldn’t see them but they could still see me.

Skills I would like to develop further are better way of learning lines wether that’s learning it scene by scene and not all at once, one of my production roles was props and I got to paint canvases for props which I really enjoyed next time I would like to be able to make props again but learn how to make them bigger and better.
