It's hard with younger children who are more likely to be protective, and may misinterpret what is said, taking home an altered story. I do feel confident about following up with parents following or ahead of discussions, or letting them know what questions came up. With older kids it's easier for me. They are more likely to have some background etc.

If they do, I decide whether to talk to that student 1-on-1, OR if enough students bring it up, I'll do a whole group discussion.
