Yet still ended up poor,
His mean, rare personality getting in the way of him having a good life.

His confidene was an issue,
as he had too much,
And though confidence is a good thing, 
An overflow is not.

His self righteousness taking over,
Whenever he was ordered by a woman,
He had to talk back.
Due to his olden day thoughts,

He looked on the street once,
And saw a rich girl,
Queenie

Sammy had a hard life.
Though pure he ended up dying,
In a way that no one else would,

Rarely enough one of his employee was Lengel. 
He was very successful.

He always will remember 12 years ago.
There was a girl called Queenie.
He couldn't remember what she looks like but he always remembers her name. 
He always talk to his kids about what happened 12 years ago at the A&P. 
They were very interested in it. 
His wife told that he made a good decision. 

After 14 years later.
His children was very successful in their business, too. 
And for he and his wife,

he remembers almost 17 years ago how judgmental he was,
he made a lot of assumptions  back then,
until he met queenie,
he was mean to her but she didn't know that,
he was gad about how brave he was,
though he did kind of feel bad Langal,
he was just doing his job,
it was rare for Sammy to do these kinds of thing back then,
after his experience he felt that every body is equal,
he worked hard and got good education and enough money to sustain him,
now he owns a large company,
his family isn't poor anymore,
he will finally be able to sip cocktails and going on many vacations without any worries,
the next day he got a call that a girl wanted to meet him,
he asked who she was and immediately recognized her,
it was queenie!,
they met and she told him about the news that her father's company had failed,
they spent a lot of time together,
and eventually got married,

and Sammy weird for quitting over a girl he would never meet
But Sammy had faith-a pure, rare feeling
and started searching for her

He found her near his house
in a huge mansion on the edge of the sea.
he knocked on her door and waited...

She was anything but mean,
treated him as her equal
she was not judgemental
about him being poor

and after twenty years 
they still are together
And Sammy knows it is because
