Cyber bullying is the bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Usually this type of bullying happen among the teenagers especially high school students. The electronic technology such as smartphone, computers, and tablets are uses for cyber bullying because this type of devices are easily to access to media social sites, text messages, email and websites. Examples of cyber bullying are sent mean text messages, sent rumors on email , comment hateful words and more. For them, it is much easier and effective to type hateful words or false information than say it face to face. For me, cyber bullying is a silent killer that can harm other people.

There are various form of cyber bullying use to harm people’s life. One of them are, slandering. Slandering is spreading rumors about the intended victim. Victim will be shock when something untrue about them spread out. Slandering is use to shame the victim and punish them for something they did not do. It is really difficult for the victim to clean back their name. Next is flaming. Flaming is lobbying others to choose a side and join a fight. The irresponsible people record the fight and share it on social media. Lastly, cyber stalking. Cyber stalking is very scary because it can harm people in real life. They will follow someone online through different sites. It is happen when the bully crush on someone but confess their love in wrong way. The bully will distract the victim’s life and threat them.

There are few impact towards the victim in real life. Dealing with a cyber-bully is difficult because they are maybe on your trail in school, at home and anywhere you can access the internet and there is no way to escape from them. Cyber bullying is relentless and harsh as the bullies get to say what they could not have the courage to say in person and they can be as mean as possible. There are a few impact of cyber bullying. One of them are low self-esteem and lack of confidence to face outside of the world. They afraid they will be attack by their bullies even in real world. Secondly, some of the victim most probably will skipping school to avoid their bullies. Some of the bullies are the people who they already know. Last but not least, the victim will face serious health problem. They will easily fall sick because of the stress happen to them. They will lose petite and cry all the time.

In a conclusion, cyber bullying has become one of the criminal acts among the teenagers. However, due to the continued technology developments, it is really hard to handle. It is also difficult to determine the exact cases of cyber bullying because some of them do not report to their parents or authorities. I hope that this cases be solve so it can reduce the amount of cases every day.
