I can remember also at Sunday School and even at school as a young girl how lessons would sometimes be taught using paper puppets stuck onto felt boards. This was a captive way for me to experience stories and to learn about how to treat others and learn lessons. This also contributed to my imagination when I would play. Reflecting back, puppetry helped me learn how to problem solve my way through anything. This early exposure to puppetry has helped me to develop self confidence and to persevere when it comes to learning new things that challenge me.
