Personality Type-  I 'am' IJSF.  I prefer seventh grade SS to any other class, but don't mind 6th so much since it is cored with ELA.  It's all about good stories.  My score for Introversion/Extroversion and Judgement/Perception were almost perfectly set in the middle.  I think that helps me with kids who function all across the spectrum.

Gifted students are just kids.  A few are big talkers, several listen quietly, some comment when comfortable.  In my limited experience with this group I have found that I could stand back and let them take control of the discussion and move it along.

Strategy to support gifted students-
Allow them to question and talk, but be ready to re-direct when necessary.
