Both orchestras located in California, USA. The state where I have spent my 3 years studying there and I have heard of those 2 sometime. Now I have the chance to see what they're performing which is quite interesting. I like the San Diego Symphony better after looking at what they perform in 2017-2018 Season. They have successfully combined the classical Western music canon like "Mozart’s Requiem, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, Elgar’s Cello Concerto and Brahms’ Symphony No. 2."  And modern artwork such as "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban", "Wonderful Life" together. Which may be more suitable for me. On the other hand, Pacific Symphony is missing the modern music but they are still performing wonderful master artwork like "Symphony No.5" of Beethoven. However, I found out an interesting on the Discorgraphic site of Pacific Symphony which is Elliot Goldenthal: Fire Water Paper A Vietnam Oratorio.
