         <description><![CDATA[<div>If dolphins did not live in pods:&nbsp;<br>- They wouldn't be as adapted to the environment then they are right now.&nbsp; - They would most likely&nbsp; die off&nbsp;<br>- They wouldn't be able to protect their young&nbsp;<br>their survival &nbsp;<br>- They wouldn't be able to learn more behaviors that would be better for their survival.<br>Any of these factors would lead to them not being successful and dying off sooner or later.&nbsp;<br><br>This adaptation was influenced by natural selection because if the dolphins learn new tricks from each other, it helps them survive and have a higher rate of survival.&nbsp;<br>An example to an adaptation to the environment would be bringing injured members of the group to the surface for a breath and wearing a sponge on their noses to protect themselves from sharp corals while looking for food.&nbsp;<br>If dolphins were not in pods, it would be difficult for offspring to be produced. Natural selection encourages the adaptations to an environment and offspring being produced.</div>]]></description>
