The roman people tended to make emperors godlike or god status after their deaths, when Vespasian was dying he said "oh dear" "I think I'm becoming a god." This shows his sense of humor and how down to earth this Emperor is.

Emperor vespasian belongs on the wall of fame for many reasons. First, he was a relief from the past. He fixed rome after it being destroyed by an idiot emperor Nero before him. After Vespasian's reign, rome was stronger then ever and back to its former glory. Next, he changed politics and society. He was elected by the senate of rome after winning a civil war in the aftermath of Nero. However, he changed politics by increasing taxation to rebuild rome and removed immunity of some greek speaking cites. He also annexed land to the roman empire and increesed military power. Lastly, he stabilized the government and had successors in place so no power vacuum civil war erupted again.

The artifact or object he should be remembered by is dirt. After the tyrannical rule of Nero, he buried the history and put history behind him. He buried Nero's palace and made his reign disappear from history.
