The ethnonym is derived from the Persian name Punjab (Five Rivers), which refers to the area in the northwest of the Indian subcontinent where five rivers—the Beas, Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi, and Sutlej—along with the long-extinct Ghaggar—merge into the Indus River. Punjabi identity has always been essentially linguistic, geographical, and cultural. The Punjab is known for agriculture and trade, but it has also experienced numerous foreign invasions over the years, leading to a long history of warfare. This is because the Punjab is located along the main invasion route through the Indian subcontinent's northwest frontier, which encouraged people to adopt a lifestyle that required fighting to defend the land.
REFERENCES
1. Punjabis.

Approximately 70 million people speak Punjabi, especially in the region of Punjab. The peculiar Gurmukhi script, which is particularly connected with the Sikhs, is used to write Punjabi in India. In 1604 the Sikh scriptures, the Adi Granth, were first written in the Gurmukhi script. As a contemporary standard language, Punjabi was primarily developed by Sikh writers, and in 1966, the Sikh political leadership eventually succeeded in creating a state with Punjabi as its official language, but in a limited form.
REFERENCE
Punjabi language.

The most famous folk dances in our culture are Bhangra and Gidhha. Traditionally performed during the Baisakhi festival, this dance style was once connected to the Punjabi harvesting season. On the beat of a dhol (double-headed drum), numerous dancers perform forceful kicks, hops, and bends of the body—often with rising, thrusting arm or shoulder gestures.
REFERENCES
Bhangra (dance).

In my perspective, health is a priceless resource that affects our quality of life and capacity to achieve our career and personal objectives. I think health is the absence of sickness or infirmity and a condition of whole physical, mental, and social well-being. Physical health is having a healthy body and not having any physical diseases. How we think, and act all contribute to our mental health. When we are in good health, we can perform daily tasks efficiently, engage in activities we enjoy, and achieve our personal and professional goals.

For me, ensuring precise and clear communication is essential when I meet with patients from varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds to deliver the best possible treatment. A lack of language can cause misunderstandings, which in turn can have an impact on the kind of treatment a patient receives. It is important to build the patient's trust, respect, and comfort before introducing the interpreter. Healthcare practitioners need to include cultural competency in their clinical practice when working with persons from immigrant and refugee backgrounds. Continuous learning about different cultures' beliefs, customs, and health practices is advised for professionals. The variety of immigrant and refugee groups, including variations in languages, beliefs, values, and health-seeking practices, should be acknowledged by professionals. To offer the best treatment for patients with migrant and refugee origins, culturally responsive clinical practice under domain 7 stresses continual education, cultural humility, efficient communication, and cooperative collaborations.
REFERENCE
Culturally Responsive Clinical Practice: Working with People from Migrant and Refugee Backgrounds.

Due to language hurdles, problems with credential recognition, and issues with the employment environment, such as workplace safety, remuneration, and professional development, refugees and immigrants in Australia have difficulty finding steady, well-paying jobs. These difficulties exacerbate stress levels and health concerns.
Food insecurity affects refugees and immigrants due to financial restrictions and a lack of inexpensive, nutrient-rich food that is appropriate for their cultures. Malnutrition and ongoing medical problems may result from this.
Finding secure housing with necessary facilities can be challenging for refugees and immigrants due to financial restrictions, prejudice, and a lack of rental history. Following Australia's National vaccination Program (NIP) schedule, migrants should go through a full vaccination evaluation when they arrive. Vaccinations against measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, and other illnesses are often administered.
Mental health
Refugees frequently experience trauma, exposure to conflict, and an unclear future, which causes serious mental health problems.
