Understanding of holistic assessment:
No longer grading based on the final artwork only. Assessment takes place throughout the process of art making. Besides assessment done by Teachers, students also assess their own work and peer’s work through gallery walks, peer evaluation and art discussion. This formative assessment gives students the platform to improve their artwork. Thus, students become more responsible learners and are more open to feedback by others.
