Mr Meri is a manager at The Maena Water Chalets. I was placed under housekeeping management. My job is to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment at the room. Mr Meri also shows every room at The Maena Water Chalets. There are 10 exclusive family rooms at The Maena Water Chalets. He also tells me the price of each room. After briefing and room surveying, I was instructed to look and inspect each room to keep the room clean and tidy at all times. This examination is conducted three days once. In the afternoon, I was instructed to clean the room because one of the rooms had been checked out by guests. As it was my first experience, I was taught by Mr Meri about how to clean the room.

This morning, I was instructed to meet Mr Jamil, the owner of The Maena Water Chalets. While meeting, he proposed a proposal and made a program or activities for me to learn during the SIEP. Today, he gives me a task and teaches me a marketing strategies. I was told to promote The Maena Water Chalets by using Facebook and Mudah.com. I have to promote the products and services offered at The Maena Water Chalets.

I was also directed to find the cost needed to make a banner. I also have to compare the price offered by the banner maker to get the appropriate price. Various designs are made. There a two room that I have to check and clean today.

This River Cruise by boat along Geting to Golok Rivers that covered a great scenery and fishing village that takes 1 hour.

After cleaning the room, make a room check list so that no loss of goods and room has been cleaned and can be occupied. After finishing work, I have interviewed the owners of the chalets. On the last day, Mr. Jamil treats me with food. We ate together with other chalets staff.
