This links to our Science topic from Autumn where we learnt about the life cycles of different animals. We will watch them grow and see how they change.


Update 10/3/2026

Our caterpillars are getting much bigger now. In the next 7 days, they should attach to the top of the cup and become chrysalides.


Update 16/3/2026

Our caterpillars are absolutely huge now! It won’t be long before they create their cocoons.


Update 1/4/2026

One of our butterflies has now emerged, we’ll give it time for the wings to dry out and then release it.
