독도는 북위 37도, 동경 약 132도에 가까이 있는 섬 입니다.
독도는 동도와 서도로 나누어져 있으며 89개의 돌로 이루어져 있습니다.
또한, 군사적으로도 중요한 위치에 있는 섬 입니다.
우리는 지금 이러한 독도를 일본에게 빼앗길 위기에 처해 있습니다.
우리는 이런 독도를 빼앗길 수 없으므로 독도가 왜 우리의 영토인지를 확실히 알고 있어야 합니다.

첫 째, 독도는 일본의 지도에서는 표기되어 있지 않으며 일본과 멀다.
일본이 공식적으로 자국의 모든 영토를 표기한 대일본전도에서는 독도를 볼 수 없습니다.
그 말은 독도는 일본의 땅이 아니라는 뜻 입니다.
또한, 울릉도에서 독도의 거리는 87.4km 이지만 일본에서 독도의 거리는 157.5km 입니다.
따라서, 독도는 일본의 땅이 아닙니다.

둘 째, 우리나라의 옛 기록에 독도가 표기되어 있다.
우리나라의 옛 지도인 팔도총도를 보면 독도와 울릉도가 표기된 것을 알 수 있습니다.
또한, 세종실록지리지에서도 독도를 울릉도에서 날이 맑은 날에 볼 수 있다고 나와있습니다.
그러므로 독도는 우리의 땅 입니다.

셋 째, 일본은 독도가 자신들의 땅이 아님을 인정했다.
연합군 최고 사령관 각서 제 677호를 보면 독도는 일본의 영토에서 제외된다고 표시되어 있습니다.
또한, 안용복 선생님께서 일본에 찾아가 독도가 조선(지금의 대한민국)의 땅임을 확인하고 온 것을 계기로, 일본은 울릉도와 독도에서 일본인들이 어업을 못 하게 하는 명령을 내린 바 있습니다.

우리나라는 독도를 지키기 위해 독도 경비대원을 만들고 독도를 알리는 '반크'라는 사절단도 만들고 있습니다.
독도가 천연기념물 제 336호로 지정된 것은 독도가 우리의 땅이기 때문에 가능한 것 입니다.
우리는 독도가 우리의 땅임을 알리고 독도를 지켜야 합니다.

친구야,안녕?  나의 이름은 미슬이야.
너는 독도에 대해 아니?  내가 독도에 대해서 설명해줄게.
나는 지금 우리나라섬인 독도가 일본꺼라고 주장하는 사람들이 있어서 억울해.
독도는 대한민국의 동쪽끝에있는 섬이고 동도와 서도로 나누어져 있어.
그 주위에는 89개의 많은 바위섬이 있지.
그리고 옛날에 바다사자의 종류인 강치가 독도에 살고있었어.
어떤 일본인이 일본정부에 독도에 있는 강치를 잡게 허락해 달라고 요청했어.
일본정부에서 독도가 주인없는 땅이라며 강치잡이를 허락해줬지.
그후 1905년,일본인들이 강치잡이를 하자 강치는 멸종위기에 처해지고 말았어.
하지만 그때 독도는 주인없는 땅이 아니었어.
우리나라의 지도인 팔도총도는 1531년에 만들어 져있지만 독도가 표시되어 있고
일본지도인 대일본전도는 1877년에 만들어 졌는데도 불고하고 독도가 표시되어 있지 않았어.
그게 독도가 우리나라인 증거야. 그 외에 증거는 더 많아. 
세종실록지리지,대한 제국 직령 제41호 제2조,연합국 최고 사령관 각서 제677호 등이 있지.
