This week, the bears used a story map to create the beginning of a magical, and personalized story that will eventually turn into a creative story. Our story map included a setting, Characters, beginning, middle ,and end. Using that brief outline, we wrote the beginning of our story. The purpose was so we can write stories without using overused words.

Scoot. Ms. Lau gave us numbers  up to the millions and 
we answered questions on pieces of paper.with the numbers. For example: My number is 3,469 the question would say if you change the 10s with the 1,000 what would you get?
We did this to know very very high numbers.

We did a Bison Activity this week. The Bison Activity is where Mrs. Chon and Mrs. Lau put on the classroom 3 Websites that we used to get information about bison. The bison was made from yellow paper. Mrs. Lau gave us colored sticky notes. The colors were Yellow, Green, Orange and Peach. Our Team was Green. We had the most sticky notes But the Peach team had the most Answers correct so they won. The Reason why we did it was because we can learn more about the Native Americans and  bison

For example it would say adjective on the top and  under it, it would say noun, verb,adverb,and  prepositional phrase. Then we would write a sentence. And this is how we would   write it. The angry bear ran rapidly before the sun set. We do this so are sentences are stronger.

We could choose any jobs we want  connector,questioner,word watcher,and sum it up. Sum it up was giving a summary of the story. Questioner was thinking about questions and answers about the book. Connector was thinking about connections. Word watcher was looking for words to find the meaning of it. The purpose was to learn,so in the future we won't have problems.
