3) The place where we live has both a City and Municipal District - i.e. our town is split into two parts "the City" and "the District"
4) Our school is named after a street, but the address of the school is not actually on that street
5) Our school sports teams are called the Bobcats

2. We also have lots of trees here. Water plus shrubbery equals--wildlife. We have loads of insects, snakes, lizards (big and small), and rodents (a famous rodent lives about 1.5 hours away)
3. We live in a college town. The college's mascot is well-suited to our wet, "swampy" climate. It also loves to bask in the sunshine. 
4. The town is named after a "hero" in the Seminole Wars. Hogtown was the name originally suggested for the area.

4.  Directly to our north there is a church and to the west there's a fire station.
5.  Our school colors are blue and white, our mascot is the hornet, and we follow the Hornet Code: Be respectful, be responsible, and be safe.

My best friend's name is Chasity Nichols and I have known her since I was 5 years old! We hang out a lot on the weekends with our Dad's. Chasity's family is pretty much my second family. I love Prairie du Chien. The public pool is cool but I stay on the river.
