From an economic viewpoint telling people to stop damaging nature is very unrealistic because most of the high income countries(HIC) have used unsustainable resource to get were they are, and they are willing to put their economical needs before the plant, which is very unfortunate. As more countries are rising to a middle income, their is much more disposable income that people use and therefore causes high consumptions of goods. Causing more demand for unnecessary products and more waste. Of course,even if we reduce the consumption of the animales that doesn't mean the viruses will go away.
