Angelica, I did my project over Social Media as well and it's use as a recruitment tool. With 38% of students citing Social Media as an influence in college choice, this becomes an apparent vital tool for colleges(Capture Higher Ed, 2016). I also see Higher Education using more and more social media as time progresses. Great post!

References
Capture Higher Ed.

Angelica, I felt this was a great post. I had not even considered social media as a trend but this is a trend that is a constant for not just students but most university personnel as well! Social media can be utilized to further involvement and awareness on campus. However, I'm interested in what you think of the future of social media in its negative use such as "hate speech" and overall disruptive posts. I feel that this is going to have a large impact on our students and a plan should be designed to best aid them in these situations. Once again, great post!
