  • New Auto Spelling Tests for Kits
  • New Auto spelling test for homework packets  put them on a Padlet with an audio recording of the test itself.  kids write their test on a new post with their name Keep them unapproved to keep them invisible from each other.  padlet does not do spellcheck  but also does not auto grade.

  • Number Sense took a dive as a trend:  understanding properties of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals and the relationships between them. This includes representing numbers with visual models, understanding place value, counting, rounding, and comparing.
  • Measurement and data analysis took a dive as a trend:  This includes length, weight, volume, area, perimeter, capacity (liquid volume), time, and money. Both the customary and metric systems are utilized. The Data Analysis domain for grades PK-5 includes sorting and classifying data into categories and using various types of graphs and tables to represent the data. It also involves interpreting and explaining patterns and drawing conclusions to solve problems about the data. Graphs include picture graphs, bar graphs, line/dot plots, tables, and more.

    with daily ledger practice, create a ruler, or a number line, which shows current totals along with the abacus, and spelling out of place values. Put money in terms of pennies and in terms of dollars.

    Students get a lesson how everything is unique and different but I’m some ways are similar. We all have our own minds and diversity.
