College Student moves to Tiny House to save money

I think moving into a Tiny house was a good idea for him because it was his way of saving money. Benefits are that you don't have to pay as much money like you have to for dorms. Some negatives is that it is illegal so if he gets caught, he is without a house. And there is not a lot of space so to conserve space, you can not take a lot of things with you.

Professor moves in a Dumpster

This professor decided to downsize into a dumpster. Before, he had a very luxurious lifestyle as a professor. He saw someone about to throw something into a dumpster and something sparked that made him just say "Man. that's it, I need to move into one of those guys." He said that it reduced a lot of the different noises. Not the type of noise you hear, but the type like endless tasks and responsibilities. I don;t think that I would move into a dumpster because to me, it feels uncomfortable just moving into such a small space

Fallacies of a Tiny House

Time:
You will probably end up spending a lot of time on your Tiny House. Since many people don't have the time to build a house all at once, they have to use their time which has a lot of value. It also takes time to hire workers (if there are any) with all of the equipment, finding a build site and other things that are just time consuming.
Importance of Consumables:
Different things like nuts, bolts, glue, fasteners and etc. can end up adding to about a thousand dollars and there really is not a way to get around that if you want a secured tiny house.
Importance of Tools:
You may think that these tools are just your basic wrench and screwdriver, there are many different tools needed and they will end up costing you in the thousands.
Trailers:
When getting a trailer for the house, some old ones may work but they may need repairs, painting etc. and in some scenarios, you may need a whole new trailer.
Appliances:
A lot of the tiny houses have different Appliances whose prices could add up like sinks, hot water tanks, etc.
Build Site:
There are many people who are building their Tiny House but the location of it costs them, they can't find a location for free.

The planning staged is simply the most important part because without planning, everything will be a disaster. You don;t know where everything is going, what you can bring with you and what you can't. You need planning so you know what you are dealing with and are prepared for what happens next. You may have the wrong parts or color paint and it makes the work even harder
