The word Al-Quran (القرآن) comes from qara’a (قرأ), meaning “to read” or “to recite.”

It is the final revelation from Allah, sent to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as guidance for humanity.

Allah says:

“Indeed, this Quran guides to that which is most upright…” (Surah Al-Isra, 17:9)

The significance of Hadith Jibril is that it gives a clear, concise explanation of the basic framework of Islam, which is expanded in further hadiths like Hadith 40, where the Prophet (ﷺ) mentions the same five pillars.

So, Hadith Jibril is directly related to the Pillars of Islam, as it was through this narration that the foundational practices of Islam were outlined and made known to the Muslim community.

1. Tauhid al-Rububiyyah: Belief in the oneness of Allah's lordship, acknowledging that He alone is the creator, sustainer, and ruler of all that exists.

2. Tauhid al-Uluhiyyah: Belief in the oneness of Allah's worship, asserting that He alone deserves to be worshiped without any partners or intermediaries.

3. Tauhid al-Asma wa Sifat: Belief in the oneness of Allah's names and attributes, affirming that His names and attributes are unique and without comparison.

1. Jibril (Gabriel): The angel of revelation.

2. Mikail (Michael): The angel who controls weather and provides sustenance.

3. Israfil: The angel who will blow the trumpet on the Day of Resurrection.

4. Malik: The guardian of Hell.

1. The Torah (Tawrat): Given to Prophet Musa (Moses).

2. The Psalms (Zabur): Given to Prophet Dawud (David).

3. The Gospel (Injil): Given to Prophet Isa (Jesus).

4. The Quran: The final and complete revelation given to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which remains unaltered and serves as the ultimate guidance.

1. Prophet Adam: The first prophet.

2. Prophet Nuh (Noah): Known for the Great Flood.

3. Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham): Known as the friend of Allah.

4. Prophet Musa (Moses): Given the Torah.

5. Prophet Isa (Jesus): Given the Gospel.

6. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): The final prophet.

Surah Al-Qiyamah (Chapter 75) discusses the Day of Resurrection.

Signs of the Resurrection Day: These include the appearance of the Dajjal (Antichrist), the return of Isa (Jesus), the emergence of Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog), and natural disasters.

Stages of Resurrection Day:

1. Blowing of the Trumpet: Israfil will blow the trumpet, marking the end of the world.

2. Resurrection: All the dead will be resurrected from their graves.

3. Gathering: All beings will be gathered for judgment.

4. Judgment: Each person’s deeds will be weighed, and they will be judged accordingly.

5. Paradise and Hell: The righteous will enter Paradise, while the sinners will be sent to Hell.

Qada' refers to the divine decree or the overall plan of Allah, which encompasses everything that happens in the universe.

What is Qadar?:

Qadar refers to the manifestation of Allah’s decree in the form of predestination or the measure of all things, including human destiny.

Why Must We Believe in Qada' wa Qadar?:

Belief in Qada' wa Qadar strengthens faith, teaches patience and acceptance of Allah’s will, and provides comfort in knowing that everything happens for a reason according to Allah’s wisdom.

What is Eschatology?

Eschatology is about the end of the world and what happens after we die. It includes beliefs about:

• Judgment Day (when everyone will be judged for their actions)

• Heaven and Hell

• Life after death

• The final events in the world

One day, Ibrahim destroyed all the idols in the temple except the biggest one, and when the people asked him about it, he said maybe the big idol destroyed the others. This made them realize their idols were powerless, but they still didn’t believe.

Ibrahim’s story shows how he stayed strong in his faith, even when his father didn’t understand.

Neighbors are people who live near you, like in the same street, building, or neighborhood. They can also be people you interact with often, like coworkers or classmates.

Adab (Good manners) towards neighbors in Islam:

1. Be Kind to Them:
   Treat your neighbors with kindness and respect. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that neighbors should be treated like family.

2. Help When They Need It:
   Help your neighbors when they are in need, whether it’s with food, a task, or emotional support.

3. Respect Their Privacy:
   Don’t invade their privacy or gossip about them. Respect their personal space.

4. Don’t Cause Harm:
   Don’t annoy or disturb your neighbors. This includes things like making loud noises or blocking their way.

5. Share with Them:
   If you have extra food or something nice, share it with your neighbors. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged sharing.

6. Forgive Them:
   If a neighbor makes a mistake or upsets you, forgive them and stay patient.

7. Give Good Advice:
   If your neighbor is doing something wrong, offer them friendly advice in a gentle way.

1. Respect Your Teachers:
   Always listen to your teachers, follow their instructions, and treat them with kindness.

2. Be On Time:
   Arrive to class on time and don’t miss deadlines for assignments.

3. Pay Attention:
   Focus on what the teacher is saying and don’t get distracted.

4. Do Your Work:
   Complete your homework and assignments on time.

5. Ask Questions:
   If you don’t understand something, politely ask your teacher for help.

6. Be Thankful:
   Appreciate your teachers and show gratitude for their hard work.

7. Avoid Distractions:
   Don’t use your phone or chat when you should be paying attention in class.

8. Help Others:
   Be kind to your classmates and help them if they need it.

9. Be Polite:
   Always be respectful and honest in your behavior.
