https://padlet.com/susan_mckay/8j6l74e5w1ow Made with wonder en-us 2018-05-05 00:21:52 UTC 2025-10-12 09:05:08 UTC hello@padlet.com susan_mckay https://padlet.com/susan_mckay/8j6l74e5w1ow/wish/258182010 There were many things I found interesting and informative throughout Competency 4.   The Differentiated Instruction folder was very useful.  I could easily apply the concepts to the very young  (Pre-K) students  I teach as well as the older students (third graders) I work with during I/E time.  I particularly enjoyed watching and taking notes on the Carol Tomilson lectures on differentiated instruction.  The thought that sticks in my head is that students need to have a sense of community in the classroom.  They need to know that the teacher cares about them.  Without this, they might not be able to make the academic progress they need to make.  This is true whether you work with Pre-k students or high school students.    ]]> 2018-05-05 00:53:37 UTC https://padlet.com/susan_mckay/8j6l74e5w1ow/wish/258182010
