I drew a big colorful tree. Its roots are knowledge, its branches are friendship, and its leaves are words like love, amore, liebe etc.

I drew big ears and a mouth. The ears listen to words like σ’ ακούω, I listen, te escucho, je t’écoute. The mouth says greetings like Καλημέρα!, Good morning!, Buenos días!

I drew a butterfly. On its wings I wrote the word friendship: φιλία, friendship, druzhba, amizade.

I drew a clock. On each hour I wrote a greeting: Καλησπέρα!, Good evening!, Bonsoir!, Buonasera!, Dobry wieczór!

I drew waves in the sea. On them I wrote: ελπίδα, hope, esperanza, speranza, надежда.

I drew children dancing together. On their clothes I wrote the word respect: σεβασμός, respect, respeto, rispetto, Respekt.

I drew eyes with many languages in the iris: hello, γεια, hola, salut, привет, こんにちは.

I drew a spaceship. From its tail it leaves words of hope: hope, ελπίδα, esperança, надежда, 希望.

I drew a happy train in a flowery landscape. Each wagon has a word: γειά, hello, salut, ciao

I drew a house with many windows. On each window I wrote “PEACE” in different languages: καλωσόρισες, welcome, bienvenue, bienvenido, добро пожаловать.

2nd Primary School of Agios Nikolaos- Greece

I drew a colorful garden full of flowers. On the petals I wrote love in many languages: σ’ αγαπώ, Je t’aime, Ich liebe dich, te amo 

At Makry Gialos Primary School, each class, in collaboration with the teachers of English, French, and German, took part in a special project to celebrate the languages and cultures of Europe.

The younger pupils shared beautiful words like hello, love, peace, and friendship, while the older students created and presented colorful collages filled with information about different European countries — from traditional foods and famous landmarks to customs and traditions.

It was a wonderful celebration of language, culture, and togetherness! 💬💙
