         <description><![CDATA[<div>Based on the art book that we read, we are going to create an Australian instrument called a <strong>Digereedoo</strong> using toilet paper/paper towel rolls! <br>You can choose to either use paper towel rolls (bigger) or toilet paper rolls (smaller). <br><strong>Instructions:</strong><br>1. If you choose <strong>paper towel rolls</strong>, get <strong>3 </strong>paper towel rolls from the front of the class.<br>&nbsp;2. If you choose <strong>toilet paper rolls</strong>, get <strong>5</strong> rolls from the front of the class.&nbsp;<br>3. Bring all of your rolls to me, and I will tape them together for you.&nbsp;<br>4. Now you will get to color and decorate your instruments however you would like, using crayons/markers.<br>5.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>KOALA CRAFT:</strong><br>If you took the perspective of the koala in your writing, you will be doing this craft! <br><strong><br>Materials needed:</strong>&nbsp;</div><ul><li><a href="https://amzn.to/35FujVH">Colored cardstock</a> or construction paper</li><li>Scissors</li><li>Glue</li><li>Pencil</li><li>Printed Koala template</li></ul><div><strong>Instructions: <br></strong>1. Trace your hand on colored paper and cut that out. &nbsp;<br>2. Cut out the Koala template for the face. Glue it to your hand cut out (like shown in the picture above).&nbsp;<br>3. Cut out a tree branch and a couple leaves from your green and brown cardstock or construction paper. Glue them together and then glue your koala onto the tree.&nbsp;<br>4.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>KANGAROO CRAFT:</strong><br>If you took the perspective of the kangaroo in your writing, you will be doing this craft! <br><br><strong>Materials needed: </strong><br>- brown and white colored washable paint <br>-black washable marker<br>- colored cardstock or construction paper <br><br><strong>Instructions: </strong><br>1. Choose a color of cardstock/construction paper.<br>2. Have the teacher paint the bottom of your foot with brown paint, and place it onto the piece of paper to create the kangaroo body (as shown in the picture above).&nbsp;<br>3. Wash off feet.&nbsp;<br>4. Use brown paint to add details like a tail and ears and hands/legs to your kangaroo. Use the white paint to add details like the eyes and stomach. Use the black marker to add any final details you would like.&nbsp;<br>5.
