Instructions:
1. Trace your hand on colored paper and cut that out.
2. Cut out the Koala template for the face. Glue it to your hand cut out (like shown in the picture above).
3. Cut out a tree branch and a couple leaves from your green and brown cardstock or construction paper. Glue them together and then glue your koala onto the tree.
4. On the "fingers" of your hand cut-out (the body of the koala), write some of this character's characteristics or traits that are shown in the story.

1. Choose a color of cardstock/construction paper.
2. Have the teacher paint the bottom of your foot with brown paint, and place it onto the piece of paper to create the kangaroo body (as shown in the picture above).
3. Wash off feet.
4. Use brown paint to add details like a tail and ears and hands/legs to your kangaroo. Use the white paint to add details like the eyes and stomach. Use the black marker to add any final details you would like.
5.
