Active learning invites students to participate and engage in the daily activities.

Student will get a strip with 4 circles. Students will stand behind the beginning circle on the left hand side and they jump to the right as they decode the picture/word the

teacher shows them on the card. They jump as they they say the sound. You can also call out BME and they jump on that circle and say the sound.

Students are prompted to share lesson with their peers then stand in the middle of the class and role play or give a brief summary of what they understood from the particular topic.

Gives learners the opportunity to learn from their peers, discuss ideas or share answers in an in -class environment.

Peer tutoring, In ELA, have students work in groups to create their own poems with the literary devices, create PowerPoints in science.

Students love the idea of walking around and seeing other students projects. They can learn from others and further their knowledge.
