         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some parts of the digestive systems include: <br><strong>The Mouth: </strong><br>Structure: Saliva has chemical digestions of starches in food <br>Function: Glands in your mouth make saliva<br><strong>The esophagus: <br></strong>Structure:<strong> </strong>When food is chewed it goes through a tube called esophagus&nbsp;<br>Function: It moves your food from your throat to your stomach&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Stomach: </strong><br>Structure:&nbsp; The walls of the stomach chave layers of muscle so the stomach is able to churn and mix food.<br>Function: A muscular bag that crushes food and contains acids and enzymes for killing bacteria&nbsp;</div><div><strong>&nbsp;Small intestine: </strong><br>Structure: After being in the stomach for a short amount of time food is make into a soupy mixture called chyme.&nbsp;</div><div>Function: The small intestine is a muscular tube where chemical digestion which takes place and nutrients are being absorbed.<br><strong>Large Intestine: </strong><br>Structure: <br>After food goes through the small intestine it goes through the large intestine <strong><br></strong>Function: <strong><br></strong>Water and nutrients are absorbed and most of the solids that is remaining is waste and it is later stored and eventually&nbsp; <br><strong>Celiac Disease: <br></strong>When a person with celiac disease eat gluten it damages their intestines. Their intestines attack their finger like villis. The person cannot eat gluten and will be affected if they do eat gluten. <br><strong>Crohn's Disease: </strong><br>Can cause abdominal pain, diarrhea, weight loss,&nbsp; anemia, and fatigue. Chrons disease cannot be cured. <br><strong>Fun Facts: </strong><br>1. 1.7 liters of saliva is produced each day&nbsp;</div><div>2.
