There are cars everywhere, and when I go for a walk or bike ride, I see groups of 20-30 people, not social distancing. On my social media, almost 75% of my friends are together, going on boats, etc. instead of isolating themselves. Then, once they post that, the next post, they state how they hate they cannot go anywhere or see any of their friends. Sometimes I laugh, and sometimes I don’t. These kinds of people complain about things people staying home cannot do, meanwhile, they are out doing it themselves. I find it very annoying about how they can’t respect others and others’ health, can’t stay home for less than 1 day. I don’t think they realize that this virus will take longer to die if they are out having the time of their lives. The only places I’ve been while in quarantine is to Starbucks, (an acai place near my house called) Nekter, the target drive up, and Publix drive up. Basically, I’m not getting out of the car at all and I technically have not been anywhere besides the car, neighborhood walks, or my house. Good luck Corona Virus.

First, I would say to try to go out everywhere as much as possible and to enjoy it because of quarantine now. Second, while going out and exposing myself; I would try being sanitary while doing it. For instance: I use hand sanitizer every time I touch a dirty surface. I’ve been using hand sanitizer every school year, since preschool, just to be safe and to prevent any future viruses. But, I never expected there to be a worldwide pandemic just because people cannot wash their hands properly (and for other reasons of course), but, on an everyday basis, washing your hands should be an easy thing to do very often, especially when you’re not home or at a public space, etc. I bet my future self would be confused about why I even said this. It’s like an apocalypse but in hiding from germs and the virus! It’s crazy how the world turned from hour-long traffic, to empty roads and businesses. I hope this teaches the world a lesson, to know when not to touch your face or other surfaces. I wish the best to my present, and future self. I saw a saying on a dove chocolate yesterday and it was: “Make your past self jealous about the present”, I find that funny because it’s the opposite right now! Good luck, world.

The roads are empty, shelves in grocery stores are empty, people everywhere you look have masks and gloves on. Everything is closed. The world is in a crisis right now due to the global pandemic that will not stop spreading. We have not been back to normal in 6 weeks. News sources are telling the people of America to stop leaving their houses. Yes, we need groceries and such, but there are delivery services for both groceries and food. I went to Publix 3 days ago, hundreds of people were there. Most people didn’t even have masks on. The way my family and I have been getting groceries is by “instacart” (delivery service). All the Starbucks’ are closed except for the drive-throughs, which takes 30 minutes because the line is so long every time I go from people wanting a good and refreshing drink, and to maybe take their mind off this crisis. Drive throughs make an exception because the baristas wear gloves and masks. Yes, it might not be all safe, but every time I get Starbucks (a couple of times a week *in quarantine*), we wipe down all of the drinks down with Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer (while wearing gloves). It’s crazy how in January, this virus first formed, nobody was worried, and now, we can’t leave the house (without exposing ourselves). All of these precautions taken now, during the virus, have me wondering what will life be like after? Will we have to still stay inside? Will businesses still be shut down? And my final question is, Will people go outside, to work, to school, or even in their cars?

This show features celebrities under costumes, and the (also celebrities) judges have to guess who they are, as well as the huge audience. But how do they have the show if there are huge crowds for the show? Zoom. Zoom has been thousands of people’s lifesavers. From work to school, Zoom allows people to be on the phone with each other, while still seeing their faces. It’s like facetime, but can fit thousands of people onto this application. Zoom is currently #1 of all the apps on the app store. It’s not just for work, but you can be on it for any occasion.
